Product Description

CRYO-LINE is a dedicated ophthalmic cryotherapy device that operates on the Joule-Thomson effect to cool the probe tip to approximately -60 degrees C. With its simple, robust design, the system enables surgeons to precisely target various intraocular structures through controlled freezing.

Core Technologies

Joule-Thomson Effect

Uses medical-grade hyperdry gas (N2O or CO2) at saturated vapor pressure (approximately 60 bar). Rapid expansion through the probe instantly cools the tip to freezing temperatures.

Precise Temperature Control

Surgeons can adjust treatment temperature from -60 degrees C to -25 degrees C (in 5 degrees C steps) and freeze duration from 1 to 60 seconds, depending on the intervention.

Operational Safety

Equipped with a dedicated exhaust port to vent N2O outside the OR, ensuring staff safety.

Key Features

Intuitive Interface

Clear LCD display and user-friendly keypad for easy setup.

Smart Operation

Continuous probe-tip temperature monitoring, automatic pneumatic self-test before each use, and automatic probe purge cycle after each activation.

Wide Probe Compatibility

Accommodates various specialized probes, allowing access to different anatomical sites through a single incision.

Clinical Applications

Retinal Detachment

Creates chorioretinal adhesion via transscleral cryopexy to seal breaks and stabilize the retina.

Glaucoma

Cyclocryotherapy reduces aqueous production in refractory glaucoma patients.

Cataract

Assists in complex situations such as pars plana lens fragment removal or capsular bag interventions.

Investment Value

Multi-Indication Coverage

One device covers multiple indications, saving the cost of multiple separate units.

Durable & Low Maintenance

Durable construction, low maintenance, easy operation.

Safe Exhaust System

Safe exhaust system protects the OR environment and personnel.
