BVI light fibers are designed with various tip options: standard, wide view, or 45° shielded. Each type suits different visualization scenarios in vitreoretinal surgery.
Reinforced Metal Shaft
The fiber shaft is reinforced with hardened metal, reducing excessive flexibility, allowing the surgeon better control of the light direction without worrying about the fiber bending.
Broad Compatibility
Thanks to the included light source adaptor, the fibers are compatible with most existing endo-illumination systems. Fibers are available in 23G, 25G, and 27G gauges, color-coded for easy instrument selection.
