The 29G Spotlight Directional is a flexible intraocular illuminator with precise light beam direction control, gently secured through a 29G valve, providing wide observation and convenient operation in vitreoretinal surgery.
This is a noteworthy instrument in bimanual vitreoretinal surgery, thanks to its flexible light beam direction control. This illuminator allows the surgeon to adjust the light angle to better visualize the target area while the other hand remains free to handle other instruments.
Its greatest advantage is the 29G valved entry system, allowing for very gentle insertion and fixation of the light fiber without putting pressure on the incision. The wide-field diffuse illumination is sufficient to observe the entire posterior segment without continuously repositioning the light.
