Schwind MS-39

Product Description

The SCHWIND MS-39 anterior segment OCT integrates spectral-domain OCT and Placido-disc topography along a single optical axis for precise corneal diagnostics.

SCHWIND MS-39 – High-Performance Anterior Segment OCT and Corneal Topography System

The SCHWIND MS-39 anterior segment OCT represents a significant advancement in corneal diagnostics. As the first device to integrate spectral-domain OCT and Placido-disc topography along a single optical axis, it enables precise data superimposition—particularly critical in the screening and monitoring of corneal pathologies such as keratoconus.
High-definition imaging allows detailed visualization of corneal microstructures, supporting informed clinical decision-making. The combination of next-generation spectral-domain OCT with Placido-based topographic analysis delivers superior resolution, revealing corneal architecture with exceptional detail. The system is capable of full anterior segment cross-sectional imaging with a scan diameter of up to 16 mm.

Key Benefits

Detailed structural assessment of all corneal layers
Precise measurement of anterior and posterior corneal thickness, elevation, curvature, and refractive power
Enhanced diagnostic accuracy through advanced epithelial mapping
High-resolution epithelial maps with 3.6-micron axial resolution via spectral-domain technology
Accurate centration and static cyclotorsion compensation, optimizing treatment outcomes when integrated with SCHWIND AMARIS and SCHWIND ATOS laser systems
Excellent anterior segment image quality across a 16 mm diameter
