The R-Evo Smart® E is Optikon's (BVI) next-generation Phaco system, combining superior performance in a compact design. Integrated with Minimal Stress™ and Agile Fluidics™, it ensures efficient emulsification, anterior chamber stability, and optimized investment costs.
1. Core Technologies
Minimal Stress™
Automatically adjusts ultrasound energy in real time based on lens density resistance, maintaining stable tip elongation. This ensures efficient emulsification while reducing intraocular tissue trauma, particularly endothelial cell loss. Multiple pulse modes (HD Pulse, Burst, Duty Cycle) allow customization according to nuclear density and surgical style. Compatible with 40 kHz phaco handpieces and a wide range of specialized tips.
Agile Fluidics™
Active dual-pump fluidics (Peristaltic & Rotary Vane) enabling flow- or vacuum-based aspiration depending on surgical stage. Dynamic IOP compensation maintains anterior chamber stability even during sudden aspiration changes. The proprietary EasySys cassette system ensures smooth operation and reduces procedural errors.
